Ordered a tv stand as well as paid for assembly for it. After waiting for it to ship and arrive (they only ship on Thursdays), it was dropped off and they said they would not be putting it together. We were told to check the fine print because apparently they don’t assemble certain furniture. We were then told we will not be receiving a refund.

Paid extra for platinum delivery, then upon delivery, was informed that they “won’t assemble the pieces” and i needed to “read the fine print.” Seems like if that’s the case, they would have put that on their website, that “platinum” delivery and assembly only applies to certain things. This company is an absolute scam. What a pathetic joke.

I am very unsatisfied with my purchase! I paid $3,680 for " Leather " couches that turned out to not be real leather!! I tried to speak with the company about it and they say they have it listed as real leather and in the store it says real leather as well. Highly don't reccomend buying anything " leather " from this store.

I've purchased a living room set, two side tables, an entry way table, a pull-out sofa bed, an area rug and a gaming chair from AFW in Katy. The entire experience from browsing & sales to delivery have been exemplary, which is why I keep going back. Prices are very reasonable and the furniture quality is great. "My" sales guy, Stanley, always goes above & beyond to make sure I get what I'm looking for. He even remembers my "style" so he can make recommendations. The dock guys are fantastic and I can't rave on the delivery team enough. They are quick and professional. They unbox and set up my furniture and take any packaging trash with them. All I have to do is open the door and show them where to put the furniture.

A special thanks to JT at the Katy location. JT was extremely helpful and gave my brother great advice on selecting the perfect coffee and end table to go with the couch he bought earlier this year from American Furniture Warehouse. I am definitely satisfied about the dresser. Also, the delivery staff were super nice and professional. It’s just a bummer that once I fill up all but one drawer, I realize the legs were in the bottom drawer, so I’m having to take everything out and flip the thing over and take out drawers and stuff like that, its a little frustrating. You definitely have a repeat customer right here.

The delivery of my bedroom set went incredibly smoothly. The team was right on time, handled everything with care, and set everything up quickly and professionally. $1100 wasted! What I thought was nice furniture turned out to be very low quality. The recliner is horrible has to force close and to lay back it's either lay a little or lay all the way there is no in between. Soons you move its sitting you up but leg part remains extended. No support beneath the mid area. This thing will be broke in months Im sure. Tried to return but they want $150 plus pick up so Id have to lose out on $225 if I want to return it. Part of me wants too cause I hate it! They should pick this crap up for free!

This is my second time buying furniture in this place and I am really happy with the great prices and friendly staff. Zee was very knowledgeable and friendly that I bought my dining set and tv console through him. I had a great experience with Steve when I got my sectional as well. He is very helpful and friendly too. These two are an asset to this branch. I will be back for sure .

What a clean top tier operation! The gentleman rang our doorbell and greeted us warmly with smiles on their faces. We showed him where the sofa was going. They took a quick observation, went out and grabbed the sofa wrapped in plastic and brought it in without disturbing anything, calling out obstacles to each other to avoid. They unwrapped it and bid us a good day. Super professional. Thank you so much for a clean delivery. The window was from 10-1. They arrived at 10:30. The driver said, "now you don't have to wait all day for a delivery." How cool is that?

On 05/11/2025 I purchased the a bedroom set. Replacing our 20 year old set. We were excited to get it. My salesman bugged me relentlessly, while at work, the following day. (Even though I told him that I was at work.) Apparently he screwed up my sale saying it wasn't charged to my Wells Fargo AFW card. Wanted me to come into the store to get it straightened out. Then another person in CS sent me a link. To pay for it over my phone. And that kept failing. So I conceded to come into the store, with some reluctance, knowing how bad the traffic would be. So while in the store. I gave them some opportunity to rectify the problem, in a adequate timeframe. After that time expired I began to leave the store, when my salesman called me. Telling me they had it ready. Apparently it had been charged to my Wells Fargo card, all along. They had to have the bank zero it out and had me do a do-over.? That' why I couldn't do it over the phone. It would have been double or exceeded my credit limit. Now I am waiting for the bed and it's past due. Salesman said it was coming from Colorado, not China!! And would be in within two weeks??? The staff within that store are inept. Sickening!!

** UPDATE ** What is customer service? It's hearing the issue and coming to a solution to fix it in a timely matter and that's exactly what Mr. Jacob, Regional Manager of America Furniture has done for us. Husband got a call Thursday evening from Mr. Jacob addressing the problem and how to rectify the issue as soon as possible; which was much appreciated after the amount of miscommunication we had to deal with and the amount of $ we spent with this company. This morning ALL the legs to our couches were replaced with new ones. Our dresser w/mirror was replaced with a new one, our 2 missing TV entertainment towers & 2 night stands were delivered and placed perfectly and with care. Mr. Jacob also offered a reimbursement of our delivery fee. My husband got a call after each piece was delivered (3 separate deliveries) from Mr. Jacob to check how each item(s) was brought in (condition wise) and the serve of the delivery was. Each time it was just great !! We were very pleased to say the least. One of the deliveries was from the "Delivery Manager" herself, Samya and she apologized for the dilemma that took place which we appreciated as well. We appreciate what Mr Jacob has done by reaching out to us, hearing our concerns and resolving the problem fast. Its people like Mr. Jacob that take the time to hear the customer(s) concerns, seeks the solution and keep the customer coming back for more business which after this we will definitely be returning customers. Everyone deserves a second chance to fix the wrong. Thank you for making things right Mr. Jacob & America Furniture. Top notch customer service THIS time from very satisfied customers !! --------------------------- Worst experience ever !!! Went into America Furniture on May 22nd spent/bought $14,000 worth of furniture. Was told all in stock and will be delivered on the 25th. May 25th comes , 2 night stands missing, all left side dresser drawers were put on lined off so the drawers wont open and close properly, left side of dresser mirror isn't stained, 2 TV entertainment towers missing, ALL couch legs scratched !! Delivery person takes pics and notes it all down to relay to proper ppl who handle these kind of mishaps and tells us someone will be calling us. NO CALL. Called to see why we never got a call the next business day and are told we have to reach out to "warranty" department which we do and then they tells us they will have it all fixed only to wait a few days and have to call back yet again to learn it was NEVER put into their system. Husband goes down in person and learns that not only are our 2 entertainment towers sitting there in the back but our 2 night stands are on back order and won't come till July !! (No curiosity call to let us know) Then they say they have to send a tech out to look at the problem pieces before doing anything about it. Husband makes appt right then and there in store with a manager of that department and calls today to see when someone will be showing up and he learns, IT WASNT PUT IN !! AGAIN!!! Try to say they called us and left a "voice mail", we dont have voicemail set up on either cell. Just a bunch of the unnecessary run around to find answers to solve our problems !! Totally unprofessional !! Wasting time and thinking we will let it go, wrong customer, not us. Careful cause they will take your $ fast but will dance around the problem to fix their mess up!! Its been 2 weeks and still nothing is fixed or solved! Dont take their word, make sure to call and check on your order and get names of who you spoke to. Just want what we paid for or compensate us for YOUR mistakes!

Very nice people and very friendly

This is the way furniture shopping should be. There are not sales people lined up at the door waiting to ambush you. They dont follow you around the store asking you questions. The quality here is mid-range with some lower end and some high end quality items. They dont sell tempurpedic beds, there was only one called the SeaBreeze Copper that came close at 1/4 the price. Otherwise the mattress selection is just mid range quality IMO. They do offer a van rental on first come first serve basis. Its $20 for an hour which includes gas and tolls. Never saw that offer before. Overall it was a great experience here to save some money.

Im at work, but my wife was home. Communication was great, delivery was quick and easy! Wife said that Henry was very nice (coincidentally our dog is named Henri!)
