Never Again!! Im not talking about the products but the costumer service. The associates are rude and tried to tell me several times I had an actual home to put the furniture in, or of my room was big enough to put a bed in it. I let that go and when they delivered the second round I missed the truck because they did not call before coming. I knew they had a delivery window (8:15-10:45) but I had to do something and came back 8:45... they came just the time I wasn't home. Ok I called to reschedule and they were so rude telling me I would make other deliveries late and If I was "asking them" for the day to reschedule. of course I was asking them so who else could I ask. Finally this lady told me I had to wait all day for the delivery, cmon nobody can be absolutely all day inside waiting for them so I told her just schedule it and I'll manage to be there during the delivery window, she said she would transfer me and wrote a note making me hard to pay for the delivery.. I mean I am repaying for it why do they have to take it personal

Purchased a full massage chair from AFW. Loved it, but it stopped working. They picked it up promptly for repair under warranty. I contacted Customer Service after 6 weeks of not hearing from them. They told me it would be up to 12 months to get parts and gave me 2 options. Wait the 12 months or get a refund. No option for a replacement chair. I chose a refund, so I could purchase another one. That is when it became a horrible experience. It has been another 6 weeks and no refund. I have contacted Customer Service 3 times during that 6 weeks. Different story each time. The latest was today. Customer Service told me the chair had never been picked up from my house. I gave them their own shop's work order number on the chair. The Rep checked again and said that it was indeed in their shop, but they had no information on repairs, parts delivery problems, or a refund. I asked the Rep if I could speak to a Supervisor. He said that he was not allowed to give he his Supv's contact information. So, looks like I am right back to where I was 6 weeks ago. Not a happy customer at all.

If I didn't have two issues, I would have given 5 star. Firstly, Eric on the sales floor was great. Super helpful, respectful, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend him. The delivery itself is where my order went a little sideways. My order was originally delivered on Superbowl Sunday. However, I was given a time window of 215-445 PM. The delivery drivers showed up at 6:30 PM, 2 hours over my allotted time with ZERO communication in between and caused me to miss my Superbowl party. (yes, i know don't sch days you have plans but 2 hours is ridiculous). Not only did they show up late, but they also additionally broke the legs off one of my dressers that happened to be on backorder, and I had to wait an entire month to get another one. The second part of my issues were that I was provided a date of March for the re-delivery, but when I called a few days ago to confirm the date for March since I had not heard from anyone, I was advised they had plenty of the dresser in stock and which day would I like delivery. I find it extremely odd that the replacement dresser was in stock and no one felt the need to call me to let me know it was ready to deliver and I had to reach out and ask status. Now finally, the two delivery men I had today were as fantastic as Eric. They had great communication of timing, arrived within the window and were in and out with my replacement dresser in 5 minutes and extremely friendly. The other two previous drivers could take some tips from these two guys on how to communicate, be timely, and respectful. Overall the furniture itself is fantastic and was a great price. Had the delivery experience gone different it would have been 5 stars.

This is the second time we have purchased furniture from AFW! The delivery was so quick. The two guys that delivered our furniture got every up to our second floor apartment within 15 minutes. A whole sectional couch, tv console, and side table. They were able to get it all up so quickly and there’s not a scratch on any of the furniture. We love AFW and their options as well.

Best prices around for well crafted furniture. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. My favorite part is the astronomical size of American Furniture Warehouse’s showroom. AFW was a good All around experience. The sales people were friendly, but not pushy. Our sales person Brian took care of everything over the phone and Email once we had made our decision. With the furniture In stock, we set a delivery date and got notifications confirming it several days before delivery. The delivery truck arrived on time and the delivery men took care of the furniture and my house as they set the furniture exactly where I wanted it and tested it. We will be buying more furniture from American Furniture Warehouse.

We love getting furniture from AFW, and specifically from Erich Sittner. We have several furnished properties, and after having worked with multiple sales associates over the years, I know that Erich is the best he provides excellent, down to earth service. Something that I love about AFW is that a lot of the furniture is delivered assembled or the delivery men will assemble it on site. This is really helpful so that I don't have to figure out getting dressers up stair cases and around tight corners, now, I let the professionals handle it.

This place is AMAZING! Not only do they have a huge selection, the employees are top notch, I kept going back for about 2 weeks trying to decide because the options are plentiful and the prices are awesome and since I'm a very picky and indecisive person and was having trouble deciding between all the options and if they would fit in my space our AMAZING sales guy Micheal Lee was so patient and kind and even made a house visit to help measure out my space to see what we could fit and what we couldn't plus helpedbus find the rught couch for our disabled son and I have to say that I am so happy with my choice and I couldn't have done it without Micheal Lee's help (well I could've but I'm glad I didn't have to...lol)! One of our items was on back order. We opted to find something else but the sales guy said it wouldn’t take that long. I literally asked about some of the reviews I’ve read about never getting backordered stuff when the sales department said we would, and he said it doesn’t happen anymore. Gave us a worse case scenario date. Well, we are beyond that date by a month now. Now they’re saying they have no idea when it will come in. Sadly, I knew this would happen but the sales guy, obviously to get a sale, talked us into it. He literally lied. So, if the furniture is available, this place is fantastic. If not, don’t get it. Anything on back order won’t happen. Don’t let them get you like they got us. I will buy from them again, but with caution.

Bought a brand new table set on 2/2/25 for my new place. Was told that the chairs were already put together and the table would be in 2 pieces, which would benefit me in putting it together since I didn’t have any tools. When I got home it was made aware that the table was in 6 pieces and the chairs were in 7 pieces each. So I decided my best bet would be to buy a tool set after work the next day so I could assemble the set. Now it’s 2/3/25 and I wasn't able to get started assembling till about 7PM since I get off of work late and had to buy a tool set. This is when the real issue happens, I started with the chairs first, I got 2 built, once I was on the 3rd I noticed that I had 4 right legs instead of 2 lefts and 2 rights. So I figured I could get it situated the next day. From there I moved on to the table since the room was getting cluttered and needed to free up space. I then got 3 legs installed on the table and noticed that the last leg was missing a pad on the foot so I didn’t even install it because the table would be uneven and just teeter back and forth. By this time I realized that this project could no longer be held off to the next day just for the fact that parts and pieces were taking over my floors. So I made a trip back to the warehouse in hopes that I would be helped. I got there around 9:30PM only to be told that none of the associates in the store could help me with my issue and that I should come back tomorrow to get help. So now my family has to deal with the clutter until 6pm or 7pm for me to get home and finish assembling the table and chairs.

I took some time to shop around and everything in this store was beautiful multiple other workers spoke to me and were very helpful as well by Erich definitely made this process sooooooo much smooth. Best Furniture shopping experience my wife and I have ever had. Sales representatives did NOT bombard us or pressure us into buying furniture. Rather they greeted us and let us know to reach out if we had any questions or concerns. Carl Reed was very professional and kind. I would rate our experience 10 stars if the option was available. I ordered several items and most of them delivered defective! In addition, the delivery guy was very rude. I wanted to turn on the couch heating and massage to see if it works before they leave but he refused and said that he wouldn’t wait a minute coz he is busy. He was also talking to me in a VERY rude way! I paid almost $6K and was treated in this rude way, really!! I won’t buy from AFW anymore! Stay away from them!

As much as I dread furniture shopping. This was an amazing experience. Michael Lee spent so much time with my wife and made us all extremely comfortable. Having a 22 year old disabled son makes things difficult, but Michael was so great with him and our 12 year old daughter. Tons of furniture to choose from, but the salesman was like a vulture. We literally found ourselves trying to hide from him. At no point we were allowed to just walk about and check stuff out, despite letting them know we just wanted to look around and try some couches out. Very very high pressure salesman. We actually ended up going to Ashley furniture and paying more just to not have to deal with feeling like prey.

The response of the company is a lie I am having to edit my review due to their false response. The product was and is the exact same! They are not a trustworthy company please spend your money elsewhere they don’t deserve a penny! We made multiple trips to the store and were prepared to purchase we had 4 of our kids with us so I wanted to think about it and do my research to make sure I was getting the best deal on the sofa I wanted so I went online and saw they price matched and since I found the same set for much less I contacted them to make the deal they said they do price match and to send them the link so I did and Omar said he was working on it and to go ahead and do the credit for the free interest so I did then after all that he comes back and says they can’t price match. I highly recommend researching online you will find everything cheaper!

Brandon Gomez is truly an exceptional salesman; he is knowledgeable, helpful, patient, personable and very professional!! I must tell you how extraordinary Brandon is. My husband and I are new homeowners. We were looking for bedroom furniture. Our first-time shopping at AFW was on Black Friday. We enter the store no one spoke. To make matters worse, we were walking around the store and not even one salesperson spoke or acknowledged us for 40 minutes!! Out of frustration, we decided to leave. As we were in route to exit, Brandon simply said, “hello”. Brandon patiently listened as we expressed our frustration and negative experience with AFW. Brandon apologized and explained their company hassle-free sale approached. My husband and I acknowledged Brandon’s information and agree with the concept of a hassle-free sale approach. But, not speaking nor acknowledging customers is UNACCEPTABLE!!! We thanked Brandon and left AFW. We did find a bedroom set at AFW, which we fell in love with. But, we were unable to find that particular bedroom furniture, elsewhere. A few days later we went back to AFW and asked for Brandon. We purchased the bedroom furniture we fell in love with. Also, we back to AFW and purchased living room furniture. Of course, we requested “Brandon”! My husband and I are so thankful for Brandon’s professionalism, kindness and empathy, and we look forward to continuing our great customer-salesperson relationship. So my furniture came this am. On the way out the delivery guys asks " do you have a box spring for the bed?" I told him no, I didn't know I did. So, I'm disabled and my wife is recovering from surgery. The left the bedroom door blocked with the old bed and headboard. So I called to speak with someone and was bumped around to different sales people...to BUY one. Over the years I've spent over 10000 dollars. This experience has put a real bad taste in my mouth. Will never go back. This is the first issue, but they handled it terribly.

Amazing staff! I just wanted to share my experience here at this store. Me and my husband were at Top Golf pretending like we know how to golf ⛳️ ( we don't know lol. I was just there for the chicken sliders). I glance over and see the bright lights over there at AFW. I told my husband I'm in the mood to look for a whole new furniture set. We walked in and were greeted by a very nice salesman named Gabe. He was more than willing to explain to me the significance of the white lions and the complete history of AFW. He also helped us with our color coordination of the furniture set. He never rushed us even though > I said the gray my husband picked out looked green.(still debating the color lol) Once we made the purchase we realized we had no form of transportation due to us Ubering to Top Golf (responsible, I know). Gabe then let us know at AFW they offer Luxurious Sprinter Vans, and can help take our new furniture home tonight. From Date night to furniture night, I feel we met a lifelong friend. Thanks Gabe, I wouldn't be sitting on these Steel Grey sofas without you.

My experience at this store was piss poor. The customer service I received was awful. This was my first time in this store and I was very disappointed. I expected better service. I didn't receive any help but when I went to the check out express I was told that I had to go through a salesperson because my purchase was over $200 and they have to eat. WOW! They must not be too hungry because no one ask me anything. Overall the store has what I was looking for but the service and procedures are piss poor. My sales rep A.P. didn't make the situation any better. Just piss poor customer service and she did an awful job. I wish I could say that I had a great buying experience here. Thats why this will be my last time. Plus I did see better deals on Amazon but I went with these guys only because I needed my Purchase asap.

Update to my post: AFW reached out to resolve the issue with the broken knob. I ultimately spoke with Rick Garcia from their Denver location. Rick is awesome! We discussed the photos, he laid out the options and ultimately scheduled delivery of a new cabinet in one week. He was professional, considerate and willing to listen. He has probably single-handedly restored my confidence in AFW. Prior post: Notice the knob on the right. This will be an issue at some point, requiring replacement of 6 knobs. They need to do quality control inspections of their products before delivery. Because once you have it in your home good luck getting anything done about poor quality or broken items. This should NOT have left the warehouse. This is the second time I have purchased here in 4 or 5 years and both times they have delivered crap that was broken or had sharpie ink marks on very visible areas. I thought I would give another try but I won’t be buying here again.

Initially, I had A LOT of difficulty with customer service. I placed my order online not realizing that the next delivery date would be over 1 month out from my order despite that it was in stock and the MANY restrictions on having someone other than AFW deliver your furniture. I was getting upset and was ready to cancel my order until JAMIE (at the Webster, TX location) went above and beyond and maintained a great attitude the whole time. JAMIE did a GREAT job and AFW is lucky to have her!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH JAMIE!!!

My son bought a twin bed and a matching dresser for my grandson. Screws for dresser knobs are too big. Twin bed missing parts. Unable to put together.

Absolutely ridiculous. I bought a queen bed set about two weeks ago. I was told everything was in stock except the bed rails that were 1-1/2 weeks out… it’s been two weeks now so I called to check on them and was just told they will be in MIDDLE OF JANUARY !Absolutely unacceptable… Now I have to load up all this dang furniture and return it. NOT COOL ! UPDATE: I’ve decided to keep the bed and wait on the rails. It’s just to difficult for me to return & then start shopping all over again. UPDATE: My bed rails came in yesterday December 8th. Good news !!! Unfortunately today as I’m assembling it, I see the hardware kit is wrong. Wrong screws wrong washers. I called customer service and was pleasantly surprised by EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! They’re sending me new parts FedEx and were very nice, helpful, & apologetic about everything. Even offered to send someone out to assemble it for me. This guy completely fixed my opinion, repaired thier reputation, and I’m changing my one star to 4 stars. Thank you!!!

Not what I thought it was going to be. Not comfortable and is sinking in. Not good quality for that high price. And I was told I was going to have iPhone connections on both sides and it only came with one. On one side. It also has a very bad smell. It doesn’t smell like its new at all I only had it for going on two weeks

Huge Show room. Plenty of employees. The place was clean and so was the restroom. I have purchased from here before but this time I did financing so that's available. My couch was in stock so I came home with. They do offer delivery for a fee ($125.00) and set it up for you. Tons of employees but had to track someone down to help me. Unfortunately for me, the gentleman kept getting interrupted and helping other customers and paging on the loud speaker so it took longer than it should have. Overall, happy with my multi function made in America couch.

Let’s just say I will NEVER visit an AFW store again. I ordered an item online and went to pick it up the next day during my lunch hour. I drove 30 miles and when I arrived, I showed my TDL, online receipt and my credit card using my Apple Wallet. Since I did not have my PHYSICAL card on me, they would not allow me to leave with my purchase. AFW needs to state on their website that a PHYSICAL credit card is needed at the time of pickup. False advertisement. I wasted my time and gas. I will never buy any furniture from this store again, and will make sure my family also knows never to shop at AFW. You’ve lost a paying customer for life.
